Fantastic spot in Coimbra for "home made" style food. It was a recommendation from a friend from Coimbra that knows the restaurants in the area and he was right regarding the quality of the dishes. It's a match for both a quick lunch break on a normal day or to go out with colleagues/friends. The atmosphere is 4 just because of the construction works close by but it doesn't impact the traffic. A lovely restaurant with friendly staff and good menu of Portuguese cuisine. We visited during the COVID situation and it was handled very well with good social distancing and sanitising. They lose one star for pricing. I ordered a steak and asked for it without the normal sides of rice and beans, but with a small salad. I was charged the full price for the steak and sides and a further 3.50 euro for the salad. Surely the salad should have been offered as an alternative. We would certainly visit again, but I'll be paying closer attention to the bill next time.
Beautiful meal. Had the steak and mushrooms. Very like a steak Dianne but the portions are huge compared to the UK. This place is well worth a visit. Worked out to be extremely good value.
Very nice restaurant with great views of the bypass! Food quality was excellent & extremely generous portions, served by lovely helpful waitress.
Really tasty food with a nice variety of Portuguese dishes. It's made on request so one has to be patient, but it's worth the wait.
Food is not great, not bad either... Good choice of wines but very poor deserts. Quality for price, I only give 2 stars. It can be largely improved.
